Collin’s (PLQ) delivers good value for money with reasonable prices and an acceptable food standard. The ribeye grill was satisfying, and the crab pasta really stood out — while the pasta texture could be more springy, the crab sauce itself was rich and delicious, totally saving the dish. Bonus points for the attentive and helpful staff, making the overall dining experience pleasant and comfortable. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Had a most pleasant dining experience at lunch today. It started with Diane acknowledging us who were standing at the entrance, waiting to be seated, even though she was busy serving tables. That made us feel welcomed and sets her apart from many servers in other F&B outlets who would have ignored us given the same situation and would only attend to us when they are finally available for a minute. Then we got help from Jamie, the manager who not only patiently explained some menu options to us but offered to help take our order too, after noting our slight hesitation in doing it online. She was all smiles and pleasant throughout our interaction. We could tell she was very busy then as the restaurant was full and she had other customers to attend to and her staff to manage. We also noted that she treats her staff with respect and coaches them in an assertive but approachable manner. Thoroughly impressed with the excellent service provided by both staff above and would definitely return again for more meals in future. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went for dinner on CNY day 1. Food was fine, quite good value. Unfortunately kitchen staff and waiters were bantering loudly, occasionally swearing. Loud shutting of ovens and clanking tongs etc. Customers at several tables were visibly startled and annoyed. Especially those nearer the kitchen. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
