お肉やさんとお酒やさんが常設してあるレストラン予約必須のお店です。スタッフはフレンドリーで、美味しいお肉とお酒が楽しめます！日本酒も置いてありました。

I rarely leave feedback but I felt I should for this wine bar style restaurant, Cavemen Social. As a newbie in this area, I tried to look for a place to have a bday dinner with my family. Justin recommended a porterhouse and French sea bass. We ordered uni on toasted brioche and oven-baked veggies too. Justin kindly offered fresh melon with premium Jamon for my birthday. The porterhouse was very tender and juicy, and the doneness was also perfect! The sea bass also was cooked to perfection, and the meat was soft and sweet. I loved the sautéed zucchini and carrot, it was super good! I was so surprised that our glasses of wine and tiramisu were on the house, and Justin even offered us macarons! We felt totally welcomed, and I was more than well spoiled for my bday!! There isn't a lot of seating, so it gives you a private dining feeling which I loved. I’d definitely love to go back for a sip of wine and another great dining experience. It’s a true gem on balestier road!! A happenstance walk-in on a random Sunday dinner. A very unique butchery-dining experience with the menu explained in detail. Ambience was chill, welcoming, it's a little like dinning at someone's home. Great service overall from Justin, the owner as he is provides detailed explanation of the dishes and the wines on the menu. Imperial blossom steak was done nicely, medium as requested. Quality of the cut was as expected. Buttery and tender. Justin recommended the seasonal fish, sea bass from Brittany, France. Amazingly cooked and seasoned. It was fresh and tender. Glad we took it up. Recommended house wine from Italy was a great pairing to the dishes too. A bonus on-the-house anchovies tart was served as well, great taste profile, but slightly too salty for my liking. Highly recommend and would definitely return to try other items. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 100+
