"Thailand - Come as a guest, leave as a friend" - I read this text at the beginning of our 2 weeks journey in Thailand, but I did not think that it would apply for us before we arrived in Ko Lanta and visited Chef Chalong restaurant. Usually we don't go to a restaurant more than one or two times because we like to experiencenew places, but during our 4 days stay in Ko Lanta we ate 5 times at this restaurant and every time we were surprised by the quality and taste of their dishes. We found out that the restaurant is run by a family, Chef Chalong beeing the father and main chef, while his wife is preparing the best mango sticky rice in Thailand. The daughters and other family members are the waiters who always recommended us the best options and even prepared our fruit shakes. I have to mention Nada, the family's three year old daughter/granddaughter who enchanted us with her innocent smile. I fully recommend this restaurant for those who are seeking for a real Thai experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
