Have been supporting Chef De Pasta since it first opened at Kovan. The food was good and affordable. When the Bidadari outlet opened, I started buying from there more often since it’s nearer to me. Overall, the food has usually been good, considering for a coffee shop. However, I am very disappointed with my recent order. Today I ordered carbonara through Foodpanda from the WOODLEIGH outlet and found what looked like a strand of pubic hair in my pasta. This is honestly very shocking and unacceptable. I really did not expect this from a place I have been supporting for years. Food may taste good, but cleanliness and hygiene are basic standards. How can something like this end up in a customer’s food? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Finished all my food before I decided to post, hence no photo Been here a few times and this place never fails to satisfy me with their vegetables and garlic fried rice. Just very amazed for the amount of effort put in to make the veg and carbs as these would usually be considered as ‘sides’ compared to the meat. Every time I eat here, I feel like I’ve gotten a very balanced diet. Not to mention, the portion is huge. Good job! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

been coming here several times for bout a year and I can vouch it is GOOD Western food! portions and quality are Grilled cajun chicken garlic fried rice ($9): SO FREAKIN GOOD!!! I love this. The fried rice is damn fragrant and full of flavour. Even the veg are good, like I can taste the butter used to sauté the broccoli and carrots. The chicken is chef’s kiss the skin is sooo crispy too I always end up finishing it atp it’s my comfort meal fr it hits so hard esp when you are ravenous Smoked duck and bacon aglio olio ($8.50): So peppery it was giving 黑胡椒螃蟹冬粉 (black pepper crab vermicelli). In fact it slightly overwhelmed the garlic. There were bacon bits and a good amount of smoked duck slices (~7). Though I didn’t find the duck very nice (I don’t know how to explain it but somehow I prefer Pasta Express’ smoked duck). The upside here is the generous portion – there was a lot of spaghetti. Overall the taste is not bad, but I had better elsewhere. Chicken mushroom cream pasta ($7.90): Served right off the pan so it was extremely hot Very rich and creamy, it felt very indulgent (got a little jelak towards the end). There was a lot of chicken (more than what I expect from a hawker stall), and they had a smokey taste. Mushroom were grilled as well. Very good portion and I actually couldn’t finish it. I will buy again in future to satisfy my cream pasta cravings Carbonara with bacon and poached egg ($8.50): Totally satisfies the occasional carbonara craving! But defo abit plain, like it could use more 料 yaknow but issok cuz that’s just how carbonara is hope y’all maintain the standard I love it [2025] Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
