I’m a sucker for their roast beef and egg sandwich which I get with a side of salad instead of fries. The flavors are on the lighter side but always seem to put a smile on my face. The ingredients are fresh and haven’t come across anything similar in Hong Kong. Classified is a brunch fanatics dream come true. They do everything well and hard to beat the beach side location! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to Classified with my daughter and she asked if we could sit at the “swings.” She never asks for much, so I was mad at myself when I was 30 seconds slower than a couple to get to the first available one. Mom guilt kicked in. I asked one of the service staff (I think her name was Mona) if we could have it as soon as it becomes available. Mona said it would be a bit of a wait because the customers had just placed their food order, which was reasonable and understandable. We continued our meal but I was consumed with guilt for not acting faster (first world problem, I KNOW). Then, suddenly, Mona came back and asked if we still wanted to sit at the swings! I know to some people, this is nothing, but to me, it was a huge deal. Most service staff wouldn’t take the trouble to move people around, nor would they remember. We weren’t big spenders and we weren’t repeated customers (we live quite far away) but Mona remembered!!! Most importantly, she made us feel valued and special. Thank you, Mona!!! We will be back!
