youtubeで名前を聞いた店が偶然宿泊先の近所に！ 時間があったので寄ってみました 黒を基調とした落ち着いて洗練された雰囲気、 席には一人外国人の方、奥にはイケメンの若きマスター 幾分雑多な街並みから隔絶したお洒落度maxな空間 丸の内や広尾にあってもおかしくない、 というか絶対超人気店になる感じの店内で 逆にそっちにあったら僕は尻込みしていたかも （しかしここは熊本だ、怯むな俺ｗ） 自分へのお土産代わりに豆を買おうと相談したら とても感じよく丁寧に説明していただきました 浅煎り10種程の豆ほすべて高品質の華やかな香り、 え、エスメラルダ！のゲイシャがある！ やはりこの店ただものではない、、 ナチュラル中心に、より香り際立つアナエロ等 ほぼ全種香りをテイスティングさせて頂いて 気に入った二種を購入 コロンビアのナチュラルとフラワーエリクサー ついでにテイクアウトで別の種類を一杯注文 少し歩いて暑かったのでアイスにしたらこれが正解 完璧な手際のドリップからの恐ろしく丁寧な冷却 飲む前から絶対うまいことを確信ｗ ホテルに戻って特別な一杯を堪能しつつ、 購入した豆への期待値もさらに上昇です 帰京後、気合をいれて丁寧に淹れてみたら 期待通りの華やかな甘さと香り、 楽しい！冷めたらまた違う美味しさ 淹れ方を色々詰めたくなる奥の深さを感じます 淹れる度に熊本の思い出が蘇りよい買い物でした. Coffeedot is a top notch spot for any specialty coffee enthusiast. I stumbled in during my time in Japan without planning to, and I’m really glad I took the time to explore a bit. It’s a small, quaint shop, but the quality and range of beans make it stand out right away. They feature a variety of regions and processes, and you can tell there’s real intention behind everything they offer. On my first visit I had a Geisha natural, and on the second a co fermented Colombian with a fruit forward lychee note that was vibrant without being overpowering. Both were exceptional and memorable. The space itself is simple, with a few stools inside and out, and the barista working front and center behind a wall of beautifully displayed beans. I ended up chatting a bit and learned they actually have three locations, with one being the original shop where they do their roasting, which made the whole experience feel even more rooted in the craft. What really stood out was the attention to detail. From grind to temperature, there’s a clear dedication to the process that you don’t see everywhere. This is easily a top tier spot, and one I’d absolutely go out of my way to return to next time I’m in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
