ホテルに近く、クレジットカードを使えるところでと、たまたま入りました。 まさか、ラクサを食べれるとは…そしてとても美味しい。 水も無料で、清潔です。 スタッフは障害のある方々ですが、生き生きとお仕事されてました。 もう一度行きたかったのですが、月曜は休みでした。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Cafe is strategically located and within short walking distance from Bras Basah MRT Station (Exit E). It is at a nice area with some historical buildings along the stretch of road and has a pleasing atmosphere inside. Besides, the very pleasant and genuine behaviour of all the staff members there is also something that encourages one to give this place a try. Hui Ting and Joanne were very attentive, efficient and offered excellent customer service. We reached there before noon, both of them greeted us warmly. Our orders were taken accurately. The team maintained a positive and upbeat attitude, created a pleasant atmosphere for all diners. They didn’t simply took orders or served food, they were actively anticipating our needs, provided thoughtful service, and creating a positive and comfortable dining experience. Jenny had strong communication skills and displayed great leadership. She was patient and could see the team’s strengths eg she encouraged a team member to offer helpful and suggestions while taking our orders. It was evident that there was fulfilling and enjoyable teamwork. Hui Ting also came by to our table when she ended her shift telling us that she was knocking off and we could approach other team members for help if necessary. We could see the bustling kitchen (which has a glass partition) with chefs in a flurry of activity, focused work and creating quality dishes. The menu was varied and of generous portions. We ordered numerous mains together with the ‘Set Special’. Prawn Alio Olio was tantalising with the superbly prepared garlic, infused into the savoury olive oil and accompanied by succulent and de-shelled prawns. The Duck Confit was a culinary delight. It maintained the duck’s natural flavour and the meat was tender. It was presented with huge portions of colourful fresh vegetables and rich & creamy mashed potatoes. We also enjoyed the Brother’s Nasi Lemak…another dish that captured the essence of our local flavours. It came with aromatic coconut rice, arrays of sides including fried chicken wings, crunchy peanuts, prawns, omelette, otah, satay, pickled vegetables and the spicy relish…the sambal! We also had the mushroom soups and salad. The soup has pleasing texture and rich whilst the salad has good balance of flavours and visually appealing. For dessert, we had the Chef’s Tiramisu and cheesecake. The Tiramisu was smooth, moist and boldly flavoured. The cheese cake was lush, creamy and has delicate balance of sweetness and salt. Coffee enthusiasts should be able to find the perfect cup seeing the options available at Crossings Cafe. The Tea Latte with ginger was creamy and fragrant. We also ordered 2 Shepherd’s Pies as takeout. There were also nicely packaged cookies and snacks on sale. These 4 aunties enjoyed our visit to Crossings Cafe!
