Yesterday, 18 September 2025, I ordered Menu Item 12- Smoked Chicken and Rice. When the dish was served, I noticed the metal plate was still wet. The cook (auntie) wiped it with a cloth that appeared to be the same one used for cleaning tables. I was shocked, as the cloth did not look like it was meant for plates. I asked her politely about it because I felt uneasy. She assured me that the cloth was used only for plates and that a separate cloth was used for tables. I trusted her response and continued with my meal. However, a short while later, I observed her colleague using the exact same cloth to wipe the table. This left me very frustrated and disappointed. My concerns are: 1. When I asked nicely, if she had been truthful, I would be totally fine with a replacement clean plate. 2. Instead, she denied and lied about it, which made me feel disrespected as a customer. 3. If a cloth used on tables is also used on serving plates in front of customers, I worry about what happens in the kitchen behind the scenes. This was my third visit to the stall. I had even recommended it to a friend previously because I thought it was a good source of protein. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan to return. I am having diarrhoea now. If my condition worsens, I will report this incident to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). I hope management can take this feedback seriously, as hygiene and honesty are fundamental in F&B service. Told the auntie (the cook) at least 5 times that I don't want the parmesan cheese on my pasta. She said there is no cheese, told her that I ordered the last time and there was cheese. She responded 100% confirm there no cheese, i told her its sprinkled on the pasta but she said no. And guess what? She put cheese on the pasta, I showed it to the auntie and also to the uncle who took my order. Despite immediately showing to the both of them, they still refused to accept that this is cheese and claimed it is 香料???? Not sure if they are part timers but if they are the store owners then I am just at a loss for words. Food was much better when it was the young man cooking, sadly.. Definitely not the best but the reviews are brutal. I had worst. They need to change 180 degree. It's OK to cook in advance but have to use fresher chicken so meat won't be so chalky and dry. Don't double fry ever (not sure if they do) have heat lamp to retain heat after cook instead. Last the most important, JUST FOCUS ON SELLING CHICKEN WING and rice. (Add a tasty soup chicken broth soup in the menu) Price retain at 1.6 if too low for fresh chicken wings can increase to 1.8 max. That's how you turn your business around. Don't say limpeh never help. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
