VOCOオーチャードホテルのロビーにあるケーキ屋さん。 どのケーキも美しく、美味しそうで、選ぶのに悩んでしまいます。 悩んだ挙句、ティラミスを購入しましたが、会計する際、 「期限が近いものでいいなら半額でご用意できます」との有難いオファーがあり、もちろんそちらを購入。１つの値段で２つ購入できました。 ダブルチョコレートケーキもしっかりとカカオの香りがして美味しかったです。 サスティナブルな木製スプーンとフォークを入れてくれてたのもポイント高いです。. We’ve been buying cakes from D9 Cakery for years, and what keeps us coming back is not just the quality, but even more importantly, the flavour. We really love their cakes, and we must have bought them dozens of times over the years because they are consistently delicious and always feel worth coming back for. What has always let the place down for us, though, is the staff. Every time we visit, they look bored, uninterested, and almost annoyed, which really takes away from the whole experience. It’s frustrating because the cakes themselves are so enjoyable, yet the service feels cold and unwelcoming every single time. What disappointed me most this time is that I’ve been messaging them on WhatsApp for the past three days about a birthday cake request, and even though they read the messages, they never replied at all. It was such a simple request too, just to ask whether they could write “Happy Birthday” on the cake or add a topping for my wife’s birthday. Now her birthday is less than a week away, and I may have to give up on ordering from them because they simply do not respond. I was really hoping to get the Cherry Noir for her birthday, as it is her favourite cake in general. That makes this even more disappointing, because when a place makes cakes this good, you expect at least basic courtesy and communication from the staff.
