Probably the freshest prawn prawn noodles in Singapore.. no messy de-shell as the stall lovingly removed the prawn shells for customers. Will be perfect with a little notch up the stock umami Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My favourite noodle stall . I dare to say this is best of the best within hougang n serangoon area. The soup is their lethal weapon , very rich in prawn taste . On the they are totally different from others. Don't cut half, and the prawn size definitely worth the price you paid. Every timeI would ask the taokay Mr macho man n the very polite courteous lean man for extra soup. They won't stingy on my request. Talk so much might as well you try out personally. One of the things that sets Datouxia Big Prawn Noodle apart is the exceptional dry version with chilli. The noodles are perfectly cooked, springy and al dente, and they are coated in a flavorful and slightly spicy sauce that is bursting with prawn umami. The prawns themselves are large, fresh, and cooked to perfection. A must-try for prawn noodle lovers who enjoy a bit of heat. The soup version is also worth mentioning. It is unlike any other prawn noodle soup I've tasted. The broth is rich and full-bodied, with a complex flavor that comes from hours of simmering prawn shells and other aromatics. The prawns are again large and fresh, and they add a lovely sweetness to the soup.
