Amazing experience at The Derby Restaurant at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Service was attentive and well-paced throughout. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, which included a couple of thoughtful amuse-bouche to start, great surprises that set the tone nicely. The dishes were flavorful, well-executed, and showcased good quality ingredients. Desserts were the highlight of the meal. The Billecart-Salmon Champagne paired beautifully, and the Western sommelier stood out for his professionalism and attentive service. The only downside was the bar area before dinner, we waited over 10 minutes without being attended to and eventually decided to proceed directly to our table. The top notch fine dining experience at the Jockey Club. Old school ambience with consistent and exceptional service. Food is always expertly prepared and perfectly executed. The bread service is excellent. Followed with an innovative yet classical series of amuse-bouche, appetisers and main course. Wine list is impressive especially with the recent additional of direct import options by the club. Always a good meal here! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
