Hidden gem in Wan Chai. We love pasta, so we visited Fable mainly because of their Instagram posts about pasta. They did not disappoint, even though we came with high expectations. I would not say it is the best pasta in Hong Kong, but it is definitely tasty and very good value at this price point. A small detail we really appreciated was that they prepared a very cute drawing on our dessert, even though we had not made any special reservation in advance. The ambience is also nice, especially if you are bringing your sweetheart for a casual date. One small tip: I would suggest not entering directly from the On Lok Lane side connected to Hennessy Road, as that part may affect the mood due to an unpleasant smell. Instead, walk a little farther along Hennessy Road, turn left when you see Hennessy Road Playground, go straight to the end, and then turn left into On Lok Lane. That route feels much better and suits the restaurant’s vibe more. Overall, a pleasant surprise in Wan Chai. Good pasta, good value, and a charming little place worth visiting. I came for the HSBC dining lunch offer, and the pasta and Tiramisu were great! The restaurant was good, but the location needs some work. The dirty alley needs to be cleaned up. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

2nd visit in 2 weeks, generous pasta portions that are freshly made, al dente and hits the spot, fair prices and attentive, friendly, lovely staff but the alley way getting to the place was dirty and smelly which is not something the restaurant can help with given it's unfortunate location. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$150–200 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
