１０%チャージがないのが何気に嬉しい。箸が短い＆麺がつるつるで食べにくい。レモンが付いてくるが小さすぎてdoesn’t work.麺の上に野菜がのっているが、あれなら載せない方がいいと思った。Spicy pork Fish noodles （辣豚骨魚介拉麺）は、辛いものが得意ではない私からすると、超辛かった。ノーマルのつけ汁に少し混ぜると辛うま。

I used to go to Fuunmaru back in the days when they were located near Causeway Bay. Revisited again today and I’m glad to see that their menu is still the same. I ordered the extra charsiu tsukemen for 138$: - Noodles: you can choose if you want them hot or cold. You also get to choose portion size for free, unless you want super super large size. I chose large. The texture was perfectly bouncy. - Charsiu: there’s a reason I order the extra charsiu. I don’t know any other place in Hong Kong that makes them this authentic. I absolutely love how thick and flavorful the charsiu is- just as how my favorite places in Japan makes them. - Broth/sauce: sizzling hot and incredible umami. However, it is a little bit more oily now than what it was some years ago. Still very good though. As tsukemen is sauce and not soup, theirs has the perfect amount of salt and flavor as you’re only supposed to dip the noodles and not drink the sauce.
