Dinner at Gai Inn Izakaya is always a vibe. It’s a tiny, no-frills spot with very limited seats, definitely make a reservation, but what it lacks in space, it more than makes up for in food and atmosphere. The garlic fried rice is the ultimate bomb, packed with wok hei and full of flavour, an absolute must-order every time. Other dishes like the chicken liver, chicken heart, crab croquette, and sautéed prawns are all seriously delicious. The place is super simple, nothing fancy, but that’s part of the charm. After a drink or two, the whole place loosens up - people start chatting across tables, and it turns into this really warm, friendly environment. Head chef Patrick keeps things running with his own easygoing energy, and as the night goes on, everyone just gets happier. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

2nd visit after 1 year, still very high quality of food! Very cozy seating, which means a bit small and squeezing but perfect environment for 2-3 friends having some quick catchup. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
