I really enjoyed this little Italian restaurant. It has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the visit. Portions are decent and prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality of the food (dough and tomato sauce amazing) And as soon as you walk in, the lovely smell of fresh dough sets the perfect mood. Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A pizza and pasta restaurant located in a neighbourhood area that is usually full house during dinner peak hours. We went earlier and didn’t have to queue for a seat, and were quite amazed by the food here. Revisited after the first try and brought along our family members. Staff are friendly, attentive, and approachable as always. We tried more variety from their pizza and pasta selection. Potato & cheese pizza: potato slices were not as thick as what we had the first time, lacking the crunchy layered texture. Tarte Flambée pizza: uniquely balanced with sour cream and bacon bits, without a strong onion taste. Italian sausage pizza: mediocre for us — what you can get in most Italian pizza shops. Among the three pastas we had (Marcella's Pork Ragu, Traditional Carbonara, and Creamy Mushroom), the creamy mushroom pasta was well cooked with flavors like what we had the first time — the sauce not too creamy or sickening. Pork Ragu ranked second and was decent with its tomato base and minced meat. As for the carbonara, it was the least preferred — the pasta was rather soft, the softest among the three we tried. The taste was milder than an authentic, thick, creamy carbonara. The meatball was mediocre for us, with some unchewable bits of fat in it. You’ll notice the restaurant smell and stay on your clothes if seated indoors during peak hours, especially when we had the table nearest to the kitchen. The smoke from food preparation (open kitchen) made our eyes feel uncomfortable and teary, too. Overall, it was okay. We will be back again but will avoid the dishes we didn't really prefer. Had lunch at Gusta Sourdough Pizza Co. and honestly, it was a really good experience. We ordered the salami pizza and a salad. First thing I noticed was the service. We were greeted with a big smile the moment we walked in, and that already set the tone for the whole meal. Simple thing, but it makes a difference. The pizza came out and it was solid. I added some chilli oil on top. Not overly spicy, just enough to lift the flavour without overpowering it. I personally enjoyed it a lot. If I had to nitpick, I would have liked a touch more salt, but that is just my own preference. Overall, really enjoyable lunch. Great service, good food, comfortable vibe. I will definitely be back. Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
