Went for late brekkie on a Sat. Tried the croissant breakfast. Croissant was surprisingly crispy and not too airy. Added spinach which was cooked really well. Did a double shot espresso with oat. Coffee was very fragrant, really loved it. Will definitely return to try other things on menu Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great cafe located in the community center! Craygee was great - more details below. Sourdough not really up to my expectations as I like my sourdough either crispy and bouncy or soft and bouncy. But bounciness was completely out of the picture for the sourdough, it was hard and slightly stale. Might have to adjust the ratio of the sourdough starter or change caterer (some cafes outsource sourdough so don’t get me wrong if you guys make it) ! Food was unique, I liked that they had a cafe specialty in a very unique dish called the craygee. It was well presented and had a delightful umami broth which soaked the rice. Rice being not clumpy was essential here, and also the broth had a clean taste, seafood wasn’t gamey as well, and I really liked how the broth did not lean on a miso taste, cause I expected that from the seafood dishes I ate in Japan with this distinct broth colour. Pleasantly surprised. Overall, for the sourdough since I was looking forward to it, it is a 4 for me. Will be back to try an improved Sourdough and change to a 5 next time! Went to House Downstairs @ Ulu Pandan CC recently and honestly, it’s not about how far I stay — what matters is whether the food is worth it and this place did not disappoint. We ordered a few dishes: Potato Rosti with Sour Cream Crispy on the outside and soft inside. You can tell it’s freshly hand-grated potatoes, not the frozen type. Simple but done well. House Signature Craygee Their own take on paofan — seafood broth with fried short-grain rice, clams, Thai Feiji prawns and crayfish. Very comforting dish, broth was flavourful and not too heavy. Feels quite premium but still homely. Laksa Goreng Interesting fusion dish — stir-fried laksa with prawns and a sous vide egg. Rich flavour, slightly creamy, and quite unique compared to the usual laksa. Drinks: Ice Black (coffee-o kosong) — nice and refreshing, not too bitter Hot White — smooth and comforting Overall, prices are quite budget-friendly, especially for a café setting. Plus point: can use CDC vouchers, which makes it even more worth it. Final thoughts: Nice cosy spot with decent food, good for a chill meal. Would come back again, not because it’s near or far — but because the food is worth it. 5/5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
