Ordered the chicken katsu don through their QR system and paid online to confirm the order. The chicken meat was quite thick. Overall, it was average food at an average price — nothing particularly good or bad. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10

Ahhhhhh this was good. A little pricey for school food but the portion was quite big. Wad expecting way less from this place but it exceeded expectations. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20

I was a regular at UDON DON BAR, but my dining experience today was unfortunately disappointing. The chawanmushi here is honestly rly good, which is why I ordered two today (as usual), only to be told later that it was sold out. Given how crowded it was, this was understandable. However, the service recovery was poor. The manager at the counter did not apologise for the situation and just asserted that gyoza would be provided as a replacement to my order. I do not eat gyoza, and when I asked for a refund instead, he appeared visibly frustrated, circled the receipt without explanation, and ignored me thereafter. I think it was a completely fair request, as a customer, to ask for a refund on what I wanted but could not be provided. I was appalled by this behaviour and I think the overall handling of this situation could have been more respectful. As a regular customer, this experience was definitely disappointing. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
