I apologize for the misunderstanding. Our restaurant uses sea shrimp, also known as tiger prawns, and we never use frozen shrimp because we are located near the sea and can easily source fresh ingredients

We were for a dinner there. Symptoms of food poisoning came in few hours. Horrible experience! Update: We were indeed at Hug Lanta Restaurant yesterday. We arrived around 6:30 pm and left around 7:30 pm. We ordered two watermelon shakes, papaya salad, Japanese beef (rice bowl with egg), and chicken noodles. About two hours after leaving the restaurant, both of us developed severe symptoms of food poisoning – vomiting, diarrhea, elevated body temperature, and dehydration. We had a very difficult night, and traveling the next morning was extremely hard due to our condition. We kindly recommend checking the kitchen, food handling, and ingredients, to help prevent this from happening to other guests. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1–200
