We specifically chose this place after researching cocktail spots in Karon and looking up Happy Hour deals in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing and misleading. The Happy Hour was advertised as “2 for 1,” which normally means you get two cocktails for the price of one based on the regular menu prices (even if it only applies to selected drinks). However, that’s not what happens here. Instead, there is a separate Happy Hour menu with the exact same cocktails as on the regular menu—but at higher prices. For example, a cocktail that normally costs 230 Baht suddenly costs 300 Baht during Happy Hour, and only then do you get the “2 for 1” deal. Yes, it still ends up being slightly cheaper than ordering two cocktails outside of Happy Hour, but it feels very misleading and not transparent at all. This pricing structure is not clearly communicated anywhere online—not on Instagram, not on a website, nowhere. Overall, this left us feeling disappointed and a bit tricked.

I had an incredible night at Halo Rooftop Bar. From the warm lights to the relaxing music and breathtaking rooftop view, everything was perfect. The drinks were a highlight, the vodka cocktails had such a clean, smooth taste. The staff were attentive, and the manager made sure we were comfortable. Definitely coming back!
