Business reported for fake engagement. Nothing personal, blame Basil King they are the best offender of this practice which should be stop. Anyway ordered pork bulgogi jeongol. Total $45.44 but paying GRAB gives 5% discount. Comes with 3 free side dishes and you can asked for refill once when you finished it. Pork: excellent Other: great Soup: good Sides: hit and miss Amount for money: below Pork was surprisingly well marinated, very sweet. It can get a bit one dimensional due to lack of dipping sauce but luckily the veges, mushroom and vermicelli is somehow how peppery which gives this a greater complexity. Soup also has this sweetness to it but is not pepper. Kinda too salty or with msg though i feel very thirsty after the meal. Free cold water was given though. One thing must be said the service staff was very attentive one of the rare instant that a service charge is actually justifiable. Side dish is a mixed. While i like their kimchi especially their raddish which is crunching, their fish cake is kinda too fishy for my liking. Size wise it is big... With 500g of pork... But it is also mostly greens and mushroom so over $40 is a bit steep. However don't get me wrong compare to other shopping mall restaurant it is way cheaper for the amount they are giving. Overall, food was average. No wow factor. Had nicer Korean food for sure. The highlight dish was the Shin ramen. Love the broth and texture of the noodles. The rest was really average ie octopus/pork belly, fried chicken etc. Refer to the photos Service was pretty average as well. Quite hard to get their attention. Not sure why when the place wasn’t full. Probably half of the seats were occupied. The only friendly staffs was the one from Philippines and the Chinese guy. Sorry didn’t get their names. What I really didn’t like was that they will offer you SGD 5 voucher off the next visit if you give them a 5 stars review on Google. Yes must be 5 stars. See photo. I rely on Google reviews to decide if I want to visit a place and this kind of practise may skew the overall rating. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This is a rather well-reviewed eatery, so colour me disappointed when it took nearly 45 minutes from the time we completed our order to receiving the food. To note: we had the beef hotpot (pictured), which was a tad confusing to order. (It was listed as such on the printed menu, but had to be ordered as the mushroom hotpot via the QR code menu, with a beef add-on.) Hotpot preparation is largely ingredient assembly, so the long wait for food service was a letdown. From what we observed, we weren’t alone in this: multiple tables around us appeared to experience similar wait times for their respective orders. Quality of the hotpot was average at best. The flavour profile of the broth leaned heavily on fermented bean paste, and by approximation, no more than 100 grams of beef was served. There sure was a load of mushrooms, though. Other dishes ordered include seaweed rice and a serving of cutlassfish (pictured). Portion size aside, the latter came cold. Side dishes were not part of the upfront service and were included only in part depending on what you ordered. For a two-pax hotpot, we were given a choice of four side dishes from a small list of options, indicated on the menu as refillable once. Additional side dishes could be ordered but were chargeable. Total damage came up to roughly SGD 30 per pax. There are alternative options in the vicinity and across the CBD that we've tried and found to be better. Verdict: unlikely to return, barring extraordinary circumstances. HanNaemBi appears to be affiliated with Rolling Rice, another Korean eatery located right next door. Judging by the disparity between average ratings and what we experienced, YMMV depending on the dishes ordered and the time of day. We visited on a Sunday evening, when there was a decent customer flow but not a full house. We were seated immediately without a reservation. Dear 에드, We are truly sorry for what happened to you with our food and our service. We have found out that our staff had misplaced grams of meats on your dishes. It is truly our 100% mistake. And we are also sorry for late serving, when we were busy, it is normal to serve foods within 30~40min. We are truly sorry for your inconvenience in our restaurant.
