I visited during the busy lunch rush on a Saturday, after being turned away by all the other restaurants on the 2nd and 5th floors. This place was my last option, but they also told me there were no tables available for a solo customer. I said I was willing to wait since I had no other choice — my Airbnb was too far to take takeaway food back. After waiting about 15 minutes, the staff finally seated me at a table they normally use for preparing ingredients. As she led me there, she mentioned that they usually don’t accept single customers, which made me feel like I was a burden and that I shouldn’t have come in at all. I wouldn’t have minded if they had told me from the beginning, or if there had been a sign saying solo diners aren’t accepted. But if they were going to give me a table anyway, there was no reason to be rude about it. If you’re traveling alone, I’d recommend avoiding this seafood market — it’s really not solo-traveler friendly. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Quality Korean Sashimi (hu-eh) place in famous seafood town of Seoul. Price is acceptable, and the food quality was pretty nice. Service wasn’t good as they suddenly changed our reserved room with other group, so many people were quite confused. Mood is okay but not that special. I will revisit this place because of the food.
