So disappointing. I asked for a chicken & egg don but why did they only give me 4 small pieces of chicken??? This whole bowl was $7.90 + 40 cents for takeaway. The price is unjustifiable for the portion. Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Miso chicken don was easy to chew through and everythign else was as delicious as I expected. Price is on the steeper end given the type of restaurant it sells itself as but overall I enjoyed the food. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had brunch at the newly opened Hatsumi Donburi & Soba in West Mall. This halal Japanese eatery offers modern donburi and soba at very affordable prices, starting from just $5.90. Great for a quick and satisfying meal. We loved the Miso Halibut Soba thick, juicy fish with refreshing sauces. The Chicken Katsu Curry Don was generously portioned, with crispy katsu and fluffy egg. The Chicken Karaage was juicy and flavorful, and both drinks Sakura Ume Soda and Grapefruit Sencha were refreshing.
