Had a sirloin steak for late lunch and it really satisfied me. I ordered it medium and this is definitely one of the few restaurants that do it good - charred on the outside, still dark pink inside, does not ooze when cut, and juicy when chewed. The salad came with a tangy dressing that reminded me of orange squash (iykyk) but was appetising. The tomato soup was a little diluted, but retained its 'tomato-ey-ness'. Soup portion for the lunch set was just nice to whet your appetite. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

I often dine at Hot Tomato @ NEX because the food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly. It had been a while since my last visit and once again, they did not disappoint even during dinner peak hour (26 May) The food was served incredibly fast! Faster than some fast-food restaurants and the quality and taste remained consistent which is truly impressive. There was a discrepancy between the printed receipt and what I had intended to order (partly because I did not double-check) when the food was served, but the floor manager responded quickly and promptly assisted with my request. The cashier was also friendly and helpful in assisting us with our vouchers. Overall, I had a great dining experience. Thumbs up to the team and keep up the excellent service and positive energy! Hot Tomato located 23 Serangoon Central, B1- 47, Singapore 556083. Visited the restaurant and wanted for 30min as usual weekend restaurant are busy and we can understand. We ordered a olio with chargrilled chicken thigh and the olio salmon with shrimp, iced tea and a truffle fries. Food are really awesome and wait time for food are really fast. Definitely we will be back again to try on other food on the me. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
