I bought the Taman fish soup takeaway for my mother in hospital, soup tasted of mostly msg, taste of fish was subtle and the was barely any fish inside. To be fair, the service was great and gave a free bowl of rice and the staff was friendly Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

as a someone who frequents eating sauerkraut fish soup, this is the worst sauerkraut fish soup ever. tasted like they boiled oil and water together and called it a day, my entire mouth was vibrating from eating it. Food: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

A short disclaimer before my review; I have nothing against the workers but I believe the majority of them are foreign workers. The Singapore government has designed these specific stalls in NUH to promote unaffordable food for over $10. Around a tight area with very little space to move, you are surrounded by three infamous stalls known for overpricing food; Stuff'd, Wok Hey and Hugabo. None of them which provide nutritious meals compared to what we had back then in Singapore. In my personal experience, this was the first and only time I tried Hugabo. Thinking the soup would be pleasant or at the very least delicious. I was very wrong. The soup tasted very bitter and it lacked the taste of seafood despite ordering the " Toman fish soup" according to the menu. According to the description, it is a "value choice" meanwhile it took $10 from me. $10 for processed fish soup. How do we Singaporeans keep allowing this is a wonder. How long till the majority suffers and realize we need better leaders to bring back our great Nation. Because each year, Singapore is becoming less and less for Singaporeans.
