I hadn’t visited The Soup Spoon for more than a decade, so I decided to give it another try. I’m glad I did! I ordered their daily meal set and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The soup was the star of the meal — rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The bun served alongside was soft, fresh, and paired perfectly with the soup. The overall experience was satisfying, and it reminded me why The Soup Spoon has remained popular over the years. I’ll definitely be coming back again to try more items on the menu. Soup Spoon Tiong Bahru is my go-to lunch place always. The food is yummy and nutritious and I like it that they will state the calories and nutritional value, very helpful for those who are controlling their diet. They change their menu frequently too, bringing yummy and healthy soups from overseas to Sg, kudos for that. The service is impeccable too especially Nelly at Tiong Bahru branch. Her service is top-notch and she is always smiley and even remember every customer no matter how busy she is! Great job Nelly! Will be good if there are more staff like Nelly that really make our dining experience super pleasant and comforting, just like their soups Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I used to dine often when there was one at ION. So when i saw this at tiong bahru, i decided to try. Store was empty. I ordered the 2 soups with bread at $9.90. It comes with 2 small bowls of soup of your choice plus a bread roll. I ordered beef goulash which i always like. It had beef cubes, carrots, red pepper green peppers. Good bowl of soup. But when i wanted to taste the clam chower..omg! Yaks! very fishy and its not the usual fresh clam chower taste..i just dip the soup for first taste. Thank God i took like a taste...otherwise i would have thrown up cos very bad taste...like rotten seafood taste. Very very fishy...i left it there. No way i can eat it and get sick. I know my food and this is a very bad clam chowder. I hope owner can really monitor. Other than this, the table set up is off...too high cos bar stool concept. Its a restaurant not a bar. Hard to climb up onto the stool or high bench seat. Very uncomfortable sitting arrangement. For the young maybe ok but older folks will have trouble getting up and down. Service is good. Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
