Excellent experience! Great quality food, both pizza and pasta in a real Italian style. Kind staff very helpful with all requests. Had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with Carlo and Dario and was very nice to hear their story! Highly recommended. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We visited this Italian restaurant and ordered 2 pizzas, chips, and still water. The lady who seated us and initially took our order was lovely and polite. There was a slight delay of around 10–15 minutes before our order was taken despite the restaurant not being busy, but she apologised kindly so that wasn’t an issue. The reason for the 1 star review is purely because of the attitude from the waitress who served our food. I politely asked for ketchup, which she brought over. I then remembered my partner also wanted chilli oil, so when she returned I said, “Sorry, do you have any chilli oil please?” Her response in a grumpy and condescending tone was, “Anything else you want?” I simply replied, “No, just the oil please.” When she came back with the chilli oil, she again rudely said, “Nothing else??” with an attitude that made us feel uncomfortable for simply asking for condiments that are completely normal requests in a restaurant. If you work in hospitality, basic politeness and respect towards customers should come as standard. If serving customers politely is too much trouble, maybe restaurant work or hospitality isn’t the right job for you darling. It honestly isn’t hard to be nice if a customer is dining at your restaurant. Hope the manager can have some words with the lady. To make matters worse, we were then expected to pay a compulsory 10% service charge for this level of service, which felt ridiculous considering the attitude we received. It’s a shame because the pizzas themselves were decent and the rest of the staff seemed friendly, but this experience completely ruined the visit for us. We won’t be returning.
