Corner stall of bistro 8. Tried their fried rice and fish noodle. Not too bad. Peak eating hours may have queue. First time trying out their signature fish noodles. Pork lard bits were fresh. Never tried fish noodles before so no comparison with other eateries. The noodles vaguely taste of fish and texture-wise is "sang sang", like some kind of konjac noodle texture. Apart from noodles there was 2 prawns and 2 pieces of pork fillet. Gravy is like your typical horfun gravy with a slight wok hei taste. Interesting fish noodles I must say but definitely not filling to the stomach. I would have been happier if there was cut chilli padi but only green chilli was available. The prawn roll (like Hae Cho) was nicely fried but a tad too small for me - for 7 small pieces I paid $8, on the ex side. But seasonings and texture of the rolls were good.
