Had a lovely belated Mother’s Day lunch at Ishizawa and it was an experience that felt quietly special from start to finish. Housed in the former Oshino space within Raffles Hotel Singapore, the restaurant retains the same intimate, refined atmosphere. Edomae-style sushi omakase that isn’t flashy, but is absolutely done well. Every course felt thoughtful and balanced, with a strong confidence in simplicity and technique rather than theatrics. My mum absolutely loved it. A wonderful addition to Singapore’s omakase scene, especially for those who appreciate understated excellence and sincere hospitality. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
