Super fresh and delicious nigiri! Itamae has a wide selection of fresh fish for you to choose from, and you can really tell the quality is there with every piece. The fish was well-cut and the rice was seasoned nicely, exactly what you want from a good nigiri spot. It's located inside D Tower, so just head up the elevator to your right and you'll find it. The setup is simple and lets the food speak for itself. If you're in the area and craving sushi, this is a must-stop. Highly recommend! This sushi place is the definition of “don’t judge a restaurant by its lighting.” No fancy interiors, no romantic mood, no dramatic plating with dry ice floating around the table actually, this is probably the kind of place where your date realizes very quickly that tonight is about food, not aesthetics. The vibe? Pure everyday Japan. Casual, fast, efficient, slightly noisy, and proudly focused on what actually matters: fresh seafood and a menu that makes ordering dangerously difficult because everything sounds good. Service moves at Tokyo train speed. Blink once and your food is already on the table. No unnecessary ceremony, just people who know exactly what they’re doing. And honestly? That’s the charm. A proper Japanese spot where the fish tastes fresh, the menu has depth, prices make sense, and nobody is pretending to be “premium fusion omakase experience number 47.” Definitely not the place for a luxury anniversary dinner but absolutely the place you’ll crave again three days later.
