Tried the rosti and chicken chop with mushroom sauce and enjoyed both. The portions were generous and the flavours were good. I liked how the rosti had a nice char with crispy edges. Rare gem in a heartland coffeeshop indeed, will be back. Side note, love reading the owner’s unapologetic replies to some of the unreasonable negative reviews. Customers aren’t always right. Delish. Came here for rosti and was not disappointed, though I have some feedback the forks and knives are plastic so they’re really bendy and have no grip. Seems like something to improve. Also, your plates are really expensive lol (please don’t attack me I’m just a bit broke). Otherwise, great place, will try again if I pass by. PS, owners comments are really savage haha I love reading them Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: I dunno man I think there’s some?

We love reading patrons' opinions and also convey our thoughts to some malicious reviewers that's pretty much all there is to it. And yes everything in SG are just getting more expensive, we simply have no choice but to list plenty of t&c at the stall and on social platforms to protect ourselves from the general frustrations from some people living in this unforgiving land. Nobody is running a biz to pick fights,we do however expect mutual respect in both directions.thank you for the feedback cheers

Compared to the price point of Marche and other western joints, Ivan's Carbina prices their rostis at a really affordable price. Meals start at $9.90. Portions are generous too. The sour cream tasted odd in my opinion. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
