A good restaurant to visit if you are looking for western food, and of course they also have Thai food. You can sit inside, or on the terrace which I chose. A large menu was available, with a lot of good Danish food, and a lot of good drinks, at reasonable prices. We were served by nice staff with a smile, which is always nice and makes the meal relaxing. Everything was fine, and we will probably come back again on a later occasion. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ฿400–600

This morning, we chose Jailhouse Restaurant for a delightful Danish-style breakfast. Arriving a bit early, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff with big smiles. The establishment was impeccably clean, and we opted for outside seating to enjoy a pleasant view of the bustling street and indulge in some people-watching. The menu at Jailhouse Restaurant offered an extensive selection of dishes, encompassing not only Danish cuisine but also Thai and international delicacies, providing us with a diverse range of options like never before. Given the array of choices, we found ourselves having some difficulty deciding what to order for breakfast. Thankfully, the attentive waitress kindly assisted us in making our selections. In the end, I opted for the beef patty on toast with grilled onions, topped with savory gravy and two fried eggs. Meanwhile, G went for the traditional Danish breakfast, complete with a perfectly cooked 3-minute egg. To our surprise, both dishes arrived simultaneously, a rarity in Thailand. Furthermore, the portion sizes were quite generous, reflecting the hearty appetites of the Vikings. We couldn't help but notice the assortment of prepackaged sausages, breads, and desserts available for purchase, and we couldn't resist the temptation to buy some to take home. All in all, our experience at Jailhouse Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional — the meal was delicious, the service was exemplary, and the setting was simply marvelous.
