I recently came here with a group of 4, and we were blown away by the generosity and quality of the food! The space is quite small and intimate, but the vibes and warmth from the owner can be felt through the food. Everything feels like a warm welcome! -------- They serve their Signature Jokbal Set (족발 한상) in a massive, round silverware platter surrounded by a plethora of banchan (side dishes). The pork trotter meat is incredibly tender and the skin is so jiggly and full of collagen. You get to choose 2 out of 3 flavors (Original, Garlic, and Spicy). • Garlic was my absolute favourite! the garlic sauce and rich, aromatic garlic bits over the meat completely change the game. • Original is a milder, comforting dark soy sauce style that highlights the natural sweetness of the pork. • Spicy is done in a rich, aromatic yangnyeom style, perfect for heavy-flavour lovers. The set also comes with a rich, umami Miyukguk (seaweed soup) with a nice sesame oil fragrance. The Bibimmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) is super chewy and refreshing. Pro tip: Wrap the meat in their huge, clean perilla leaves (kkaennip). The herby flavour cuts the greasiness instantly and makes it so addictive. ---------- Here's what we added on for Ala Carte : Seafood Pancake ($25): A DEFINITE MUST-ORDER. The ratio of ingredients to flour is almost 2:1. It’s oily but packed in every bite has more than one prawn, plus clams. Spicy Pork Kimchi Stew ($17): Super rich and tangy from fermented kimchi, with a generous fat-to-lean pork ratio. Ultimate hangover or comfort food. Beef Yukhoe ($15): Incredibly fresh raw beef tartare. The sweet Korean pear, sesame oil, and sesame seeds completely cover any gaminess, giving it a crisp, nutty, and addictive finish. They do not scrimp on portion sizes here. Highly recommend gathering your friends and heading down!️ Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40
