So I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki and Tonkatsu Bento set and Saba and Tonkatsu Bento set. Needed to wait a while as the chef was preparing the dish. The stall offered a wide variety of dishes much to my surprise. As an avid fan of Japanese cuisine, this humble set was really delicious and appetizing. The rice was warm and soft to chew and sprinkled with black sesame seeds. Generous serving to the pork katsu, the breaded meat was soft and it's texture was satisfying after dipping in the sauce. Not to mention the shredded cabbage whih provided extra crunch to the dish. The Salmon Teriyaki was flavorful as well. The meat was cooked just right and it melts in your mouth. Happy lunch. Can tell that the chef puts in a lot of love and effort into the dish. Thumbs up. I'll be back to try other dishes soon. Initially I was overwhelmed as there were many choices to choose from, but ended up deciding to buy the rice with salmon and egg for $7.80. Both the food and soup was satisfactory, wish the salmon was a bit bigger but can't complain as the price was under $10. Would try other dishes when visiting again. I’ve never set foot irl into the cafe but ordered monthly via Grab for over 2 years. Salmon cream stew is my favourite. Black pepper pork bento is delicious too. Love the sides ajitama egg and cucumber with floss. Tastes home cooked and quality is consistently high. Well done and thank you KK Kitchen!
