Great spot for both food and entertainment! There’s a good variety of Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes to choose from. The highlight is the live band—the Thai singer has an amazing voice and engages the crowd in a fun, respectful way without interrupting your meal. Guests can even go on stage to sing, which adds to the lively atmosphere. The band is very versatile, performing songs in Thai, Chinese, Hokkien, Korean, and Cantonese. Food-wise, everything we tried was delicious. The tom yam soup is a must-order—rich, flavorful, and really stands out. Prices are reasonable too. Had a really good meal at Kin Kao Mai Thai Restaurant and it definitely delivered on flavour. We ordered a few Thai dishes and everything came out really satisfying, bold, punchy flavours with that nice balance of spicy, sour, and savoury that Thai food is known for. The dishes were fragrant and well-seasoned without being overly heavy, and everything paired really well together with rice. What stood out most was how “homely” and comforting the food felt. It’s the kind of place where the flavours are familiar but still exciting, and you can tell the cooking is done with care. Overall, really enjoyable Thai food with strong flavours and generous portions. A solid spot I’d definitely come back to again when I’m craving Thai food.
