Utterly disappointed with Sushi Express (White Sands). Glad to lose the gold membership... The outlet was severely understaffed, leaving one overworked waitress to handle a massive queue and uncleaned tables between 6.15 - 6 45pm on the Friday, 22 May 2026. But the kitchen and management are the real issue. Being pregnant, I explicitly requested my caramelized salmon to be fully cooked instead of the usual half-cooked style. After a 40-minute wait, I was served two plates of completely charred, black, yet still half-cooked salmon. When I feedback, the staff actually replied that "this is the best they could do." Serving burnt, dangerous food to a pregnant customer and then giving a lazy excuse shows a total lack of common sense (or simply don't care) and zero care for food safety. Absolute nonsense. You just lost a loyal customer. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

All the while, the sushi and service here is great. The staff are very approachable and do their best to serve us even during a rush hour. I've also left my belongings here and they kept it for me to see if any customer would take it back, very nice. Hope to come back again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came during lunch time on the weekends, not too crowded. Decent conveyer belt sushi, however the white plates (which are the cheapest at $1.50) did not have much options that are suited for me. However, the salmon sashimi is fresh and plump and the caramelised salmon and mentaiko salmon were also good. The size of the salmon seems to have decreased over time and the duck sushi got “upgraded” to a black plate. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
