It’s a simple open-air local restaurant with fans instead of air conditioning. There were only four or five tables inside, making it feel very modest and local. We ordered a clear noodle soup with pork, tom yum noodles, and suki. If you come here, definitely try the tom yum noodles. There wasn’t actually a tom yum noodle listed on the menu—only tom yum soup—so we added sen lek (thin rice noodles) to make it into a noodle dish. The broth was spicy, tangy, rich, and creamy, with plenty of large shrimp, which made it even better. The clear noodle soup with pork and fish balls was also delicious. I couldn’t believe how generous the portion was for the price. It was good, but personally I liked both noodle dishes even more. The total for all three dishes was only 210 THB It’s not just affordable—the food is genuinely good. If you’re looking for a casual local Thai meal near Jomtien, I’d definitely recommend this place. We’ve had three dishes so far at Kiranesh and, having lived before in Thailand for 19 years and having returned from Canada after almost 2 years, all I say is wow! Their Green Curry: excellent! Their Penang Beef Curry: excellent! If you’ve never had Wing Bean salad, then I implore you to order and get it here. It was magnificent and we’ll definitely be ordering it again. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. I give Kiranesh Kitchen a ten out of ten and encourage anyone who is serious about their Thai food to try them out.
