I had a pleasant meal at Kkamang. I got the spicy ragu pasta and the Kkamang deep fry (cheese wrapped in sweet potato and deep fried). Both were very good and went well together. The ragu was just the right level of spicy, just a slight kick and balanced the cheese balls well. The beef, garlic, and mushrooms in the pasta were all cooked perfectly in a flavorful sauce along with the noodles at a nice al dente. The cheese balls were also perfectly crispy. They also provide pickled radish and cabbage as a side dish to suit the Korean palette. Went on a weekday at noon but wasn’t crowded (1/3 full). The only minor annoyance was the water was self-serve in a tiny cup, so I had to walk over to the opposite side of the room to refill my water several times during the meal. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in seoul! Their pasta dishes are amazing and so delicious. Their portions are reasonable and prices are reasonable too. The service here is great, friendly staff. Very hidden gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000
