If you’re looking for a truly authentic Spanish experience in Phuket, you need to visit La Salada Rawai. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a real little Spanish corner, warm, welcoming, genuine, and full of soul. We started with the croquetas and they were absolutely delicious: crispy outside, creamy inside, with that real jamón flavour that instantly brings you to Spain. Then came the black paella and honestly, it was one of the best paellas I’ve ever had. The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. What made the experience even more special was Chef Elena herself, preparing everything in front of us with so much passion and authenticity. She is truly part of the experience. She makes you feel at home, shares little secrets about the dishes, explains Spanish traditions, and shows you how to enjoy everything properly. Her recommendation to add the alioli into the paella was next level, absolutely amazing! Special mention as well for the cava, which was such a beautiful surprise. Excellent quality and the perfect pairing for the meal. This is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience full of heart, culture, and amazing food. Without a doubt, our new favourite spot in Phuket.
