I am a regular customer of Lao Huo Tang because I genuinely enjoy the food and soups. The dishes are consistently delicious, rich in flavour, generously portioned, and prepared with quality ingredients. The restaurant has maintained a high standard of food quality over the years, which is why I continue to support the brand. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service experience during my recent visit to the Causeway Point outlet. Upon arriving at the restaurant, there was no staff member available to greet, attend to, or guide customers to their seats. I had to find my own table and seat myself. A staff member only approached me afterwards to inform me that I should scan the QR code to place my order. There was also no effort to introduce any ongoing promotions, new menu items, or recommendations. One service aspect that I have always appreciated at other Lao Huo Tang outlets is the complimentary soup refill. Staff members at other branches are often attentive and proactive in checking on customers. When they notice that a customer's soup is running low, they will usually approach the customer and offer a refill. This thoughtful gesture demonstrates excellent customer care and significantly enhances the dining experience. However, this level of attentiveness was absent during my visit to the Causeway Point outlet. No staff member approached me to check whether I required a soup refill, despite it being one of the services that I have come to appreciate from the brand. In addition, when I proceeded to the cashier counter to make payment, the service experience remained disappointing. After processing the payment, the cashier simply placed the receipt on the counter without any eye contact, greeting, or acknowledgement. Basic service etiquette, such as handing the receipt directly to the customer and thanking them for their patronage, appeared to be lacking. Overall Feedback While Lao Huo Tang continues to deliver excellent food quality, I believe that customer service and hospitality are equally important in creating a positive dining experience. As a well-known and respected restaurant brand in Singapore, I hope greater emphasis can be placed on service standards, staff attentiveness, and customer engagement at the Causeway Point outlet. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively and used as an opportunity to improve the overall customer experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Super diluted pig organ soup and the ingredients are totally not fresh at all the boss better comes and check the quality !!! Standards have dropped a lot compared to the last time we ate at the restaurant !!! also there was a very strong stench at the entrance of the shop . I hope the restaurant can refund my money ! Totally not worth the meal !!! I will avoid this restaurant at all cost ! Eat at your own risks !!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Whole family love the soups and I used to go dabao weekly. But noticed that the soup volume is getting lesser and lesser. They filled container with chunks of pork ribs, soup bones/meats and ingredients (potato, watercress etc) if take away. Bear in mind the container is already smaller compared to their usual dine in soup bowl. After i removed the ingredients and pour out the soup, it barely fill up a rice bowl. Need to add $3 for additional half container of soup without ingredients. Good goodbye to LHT. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
