Si Ji Dou is served hot and piping. Very crunchy on bite. Not too oily. Lots of garlic to compliment the dish. Make sure you bit these beans with the garlic for another level of fragrance. The lala wine bee hoon, can be improved. Very good wine smell, correct me if I am wrong, should be shao xing wine used. The garlic also removes any "fishy" smell from the lala itself. I personally prefer the soup to be stronger in flavour and thicker broth. But overall still good. Can be used as a soup to make rice easier to consume. Very generous portion given. This place is alway crowded. So please, impatience diners to avoid this place. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I brought one of my good friends and client here to enjoy their superb curry fish head for lunch, and it truly lived up to the hype. The curry fish head was rich, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. We also ordered the salted egg yolk prawn, but it was a little too salty for our liking. What impressed us most was the amazing service from the team. Without much questions asked, they kindly offered to change the dish for us at no extra charge. That gesture was deeply appreciated and showed their genuine care for customers’ dining experience. Great food is one thing, but great service is what makes people come back again. JB Tai Pai Tong - Northpoint Bizhub Decided to try out a new place for my mother in law’s birthday. Searching around Yishun, quite a few names came up. The serving here is a little bigger than other zichar, this makes it value for money. Taste is pretty good. The carrot cake tasted authentic and comparable to the ones I had in KL hotels, except that this one has more pork lard. The Chao Ta Beehoon was comparable to those I had with JB Ah Meng or even Yong Kee near Dickson Rd. The chicken was flavorful and kept simple so that the taste of the chicken comes out nicely. The curry fish head came of lots of vegetables and was definitely the one to order if you are in a big group. Other dishes were also pretty good. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Sotong was not spicy at all, perhaps because they thought I wanted a non spicy version, since I did ask how spicy it would be! #zichar #jbtaipaitong #foodreview #yishun #hawker #streetfood #food #malaysian #singapore.
