Well it was “happy hour” 48 Singapur dollars for a 3 lt tower of beer and when we got the bill it was 57 dollars for taxes and services not included so 9% taxes and 10% service, it wasn’t even in small letter so I asked and he told us that is what everyone does, so the “happy hour “ is a scam. I understand about government taxes and everything, but my disagreement was because they don’t tell you that and then you feel fooled. And just to clarify I ate in two different places and they didn’t have different prices so we knew exactly what we were paying from the beginning, it’s the same but at least it’s upfront. PD the beer wasn’t that good either, it was watery and flavourless.
