獅房菜 offers a beautifully curated dining experience inspired by Eileen Chang’s life and literary world, with a stunning view of Lion Rock outside the windows that sets the mood perfectly. Each course thoughtfully echoes her narratives and emotional arcs, with complex, well-balanced flavours and refined, elegant presentation across the nine-course menu. The pacing and craftsmanship of the dishes make the experience feel immersive rather than just a meal. Special thanks to Kubi, Jennifer and the team for their warm, cheerful hospitality. Their introductions to each course and the inspirations behind them added depth and delight to the evening. Attentive service, thoughtful storytelling, and meticulous execution made this a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for those who enjoy cuisine with cultural and literary soul. My Amazing Breakfast at Lion Rock Restaurant I had the best time at the Lion Rock Restaurant, inside the Royal Plaza Hotel in Hong Kong. It was a perfect experience, and I happily give it a huge 5 out of 5 stars! We loved it so much that we ate breakfast at this wonderful spot four times during our stay. Every morning, I was still amazed by the excellent service, the great coffee, and the beautiful view. Right away, the view grabs your attention. The restaurant is named after the magnificent Lion Rock, and getting to look at this famous mountain from your table is the best part. This view of the Lion Rock was the ultimate icon for the restaurant, making the whole setting friendly and special. The breakfast spread was fantastic. They had a good selection of food with just the right serving sizes. The Croissant was amazing! The pastry was light, flaky, and simply delicious—a must-try! They also had nice fresh fruits, yogurt, and cereals, which was a lovely plus. I must highlight my ultimate breakfast favorite—the luncheon meat! It was perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying. The coffee is a huge win! Coffee lovers will look forward to their coffee every morning; it was rich, aromatic, and the perfect start to the day The excellent service truly made our four visits memorable. The staff were all so kind, attentive, and helpful every day. A huge thank you to the wonderful team on the floor: Joey, Angel, and Henry! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. And a big shout-out to the hard-working team inside the kitchen—your food was fantastic every single time! Everything about the Lion Rock Restaurant is top-tier. It's the winning combination of the incredible service, the wonderful coffee, and that iconic view that makes this place shine.
