I have been going to afternoon tea places since 3 years ago and its my first time visiting Capitol's on 1st June 2026. The Springtime Soiree experience was memorable - especially love the complimentary DIY flowers arrangement (kudos to the marketing team!) The food was also pretty good. I noticed the intricacy of the pastries and well thought out themed menu that made the food not taste commercialized like in some locations (please pass on my compliments to the chefs!) Loved the uncommon savoury ham and cream cheese scone but i didnt really like the pea soup HAHA. The staff on the shift that day provided impeccable service and I felt very welcomed and taken care of. I didnt get her name, (she seems to be from the Philippines) she offered to take a photo for me and checked in if i needed a refill for my tea. I was there for a solo afternoon tea and greatly enjoyed the ambience, especially due to the small seating capacity which makes it a lot more private and peaceful. Capitol is my new favourite solo tea place now! However, I wouldve preferred a more isolated seat. I was sitted by the aisle and it was quite disruptive to read my book with the other patrons walking by all the time. Will totally be back for their next themed tea and bring my love ones :) Thanks for the fantastic experience Capitol team! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We visited the Lobby Lounge at Capitol Hotel Kempinski and loved the quiet, relaxing ambiance—it’s a nice spot to unwind. The food was just so-so for me, though I did really enjoy the mango sago. Overall, a pleasant place for the atmosphere, but the food could be better. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We been to this restaurant many times, and the food is delicious. The service staff are excellent, very professional, and attentive! The food is great.
