Disappointing service experience on 27/11. This used to be my go‑to place for team cakes but this experience really missed the mark. I asked how many individual slices would fit into a large box so it would look presentable as a gift (as they didn’t have any large cakes left), then bought exactly that number. After this conversation and explanation, the staff still packed them into two smaller boxes, which was the opposite of what I had just requested. When I raised this with the cashier in case of miscommunication, she simply told me the large boxes are only for whole cakes and that I would also need to pay extra for a bag. For a spend equivalent to two full cakes, there was zero flexibility or willingness to help with such a basic service request. The irony is that I was standing there holding their own cooler bag from a recent purchase, clearly a regular customer, but treated like an inconvenience. Bought a half loaf of seeded Sourdough bread at 8am on Wed 2-7-25. Thought it would be fresh since it was so early in the morning. Sadly it was not. It was stale. $35 wasted. Never again. Price per person: $1–50 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
