If you’re looking for Kunafa, then this is not the place. Kunafa looks like kunafa in appearance only, the taste is not related to Kunafa. The ingredients used are not the real kunafa ingredients; rice noodles instead of kunafa dough, something between custard and pudding instead of white cheese, crushed cashew nuts dyed with green to make as pistachios while in real kunafa they use real pistachio. The base turned green because the excessive use of green dye. Ballava was ok, better than kunafa. Overall 5/10 and only because of baklava, kunafa rating is 1/10.

I tested the “pistachio” used in this product and was seriously disappointed. When placed in water, the color immediately bled into a bright green liquid, clear evidence of added coloring rather than natural pistachio. Real pistachios do not release color like this. The taste and texture also don’t reflect genuine pistachio quality. It feels like a low-cost substitute (likely peanuts or mixed nuts) being marketed as pistachio, which is misleading. As someone who works with food professionally, I take ingredient integrity seriously. This is not acceptable, especially for a product that claims to be pistachio-based. I would strongly recommend the shop to be transparent about their ingredients. Customers deserve to know what they are actually paying for.
