Food was good. Please order their fries, the seasoning is so good. The chorizo mollete had layers of flavours. Love the ambience and also it’s not too loud for conversations. Staffs were friendly, and they took note of my reservation note that it’s a friend birthday. They brought her candle sparkler and Mexican hat! It was a memorable night. Way overdue review because I've been procrastinating, but this place is amazing! Food (4/5): Chips & salsa (get the extra salsa roja!) Super tasty new menu items (taquitos and the green pipian chicken dish with Mexican rice on the side) Incredible birria and pork salsa verde tamales—the real stars of the night The open-faced chorizo molletes are also great Drinks: Classic and jalapeño margaritas were good. The taro pina colada was okay, but a little medicinal tasting. Vibe: Restaurant layout and decor are super cute, quaint, and cozy. Knocked off one star only because the immediate environment was a bit too loud that day, but obviously not the restaurant's fault. Overall a great meal and I'll definitely be back! We had a quick birthday celebration for a friend at Mami's Tamales, and it turned out to be a great choice. We tried the Four Cheese (easily the standout.. absolutely delicious), the Quesadilla Chicken (loved the flavorful filling), and a classic tamale.. which, for a first-timer, was surprisingly impressive! The staff (the chicas!) were super friendly and made sure we were enjoying everything, from the food to our drinks. Speaking of drinks, the Spicy Mango Margarita was a fun surprise, a unique twist that's totally worth trying. They even gave us complimentary nachos to start, a nice touch!
