Haven’t been here for the longest time happy to say the food is still good. Parking around Joo Chiat can be quite challenging, especially during peak hours, but the meal made it worth the trip - spacious. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Definitely a spot we’d come back to again. Meal type: Dinner

Dear megumi owner I am big fan of your lunch specials and have been comming here for years ! Today I ordered the saba set and it was soaking in oil ! Excessive oil ! I used a ton of tissue (in the photo) to soak up the oil and it was never ending ! It was impossible to finish each bite your whole mouth will be super oily ! In fact the other customer at the next table was complaining on how badly done your tuna was ! So it looks like it wasn’t just me ! I must say your waitress is very attentive and she is a very sweet lady but what is your kitchen staff doing ? Perhaps you can be on site to test the food before they serve ? Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Really solid spot. Service was awesome—staff were attentive without being overbearing. Sashimi was fresh across the board, but the yellowtail and swordfish stood out—clean, rich, and done right. I’m quite particular with those, and they nailed it. Not a fan of unagi usually, but I actually enjoyed it here—well prepared and not too sweet. The beef was excellent too, super tender and melts in your mouth. Good range of sakes at very fair prices, which is rare. Also like that they’re not stuck in tradition—dishes like foie gras add a nice twist. Private room and alfresco seating are a bonus. There is quite a cool Japanese style Seating area which I enjoyed. Will be back for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
