If you know, you know — this place is a rare gem in the East. No fixed menu, everything is personally prepared by Chef Julius. The braised beef cheeks were incredibly tender, the grilled pork collar was perfectly done, and the dynamite spring rolls were addictive. On top of that, they have a very unique whisky and red wine selection that you don’t usually find in neighbourhood spots. This is not just another pub — it’s a place with heart, quality, and consistency. Hands down one of the best pubs in the East, and great value for what you get. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you think Merry-Go-Round is a place to visit only after dinner, think again. We had an awesome time chilling out on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Friendly staff suggested to pair the chai tow kueh with white wine. Good pairing! Their Devil's Prawn is a must have for people who love spicy food. The way they serve their Highball is also unique. Will be back to try out other spirits. Recommend to those looking for an awesome chill out place any time of the day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
