Called in at lunchtime. Quiet but nice and calm away from the busy street. Just had 1 pint of beer, very good. Would have stayed longer but accessibility was difficult. Step-free to enter building & to go to the loo...so far so good. However steps down to get into the bar! No handrails. Lovely, helpful (I presume manager) assisted me down but they should either make this clear in the "About" details or at least fit a handrails. It put me off. Shame, because overall it was a nice place.

I always have a blast at Mortar & Pestle! What truly makes this place stand out isn’t just the music or drinks — it’s the people. Ines, the Head of Events, is an absolute gem — full of energy, laughter, and positivity, always bringing amazing vibes to every night. Nakul is the joker of the house, always ready with a smile and quick to lend a hand. Starlin never fails to keep the party going, and Orley, the BBQ master, whips up some of the best steaks you’ll ever taste! The atmosphere here is pure good energy — warm, lively, and welcoming. Honestly, the vibes can’t get better than this. Always looking forward to my next night here! Meal type: Other Price per person: $90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
