A cozy little spot with modern look and limited seating, very much a place for people who actually love lamb. The homemade lamb gyoza is a must-order — juicy, meaty, and wrapped in a thin delicate skin. The lamb soup is rich and full of flavour, but still silky rather than heavy. On the grill, each lamb cut brings a different texture and character, which keeps things interesting. The thick-cut ox tongue is seriously rich and surprisingly filling. If you're looking for a specialized lamb experience, Mt. Yotei is a unique spot. Originally from Japan and run by locals, they offer a great variety of cuts. I personally loved the organs and soup the most. The Experience: If you aren't a pro at BBQ, no worries—the staff cooks everything for you. It’s a small, intimate space with two private rooms; on non-busy days, they often waive the minimum charge for the private rooms. The Verdict: It’s not cheap, but it’s special. The whole restaurant smells like lamb, though I found the meat itself surprisingly mild. I actually expected a stronger "goaty" flavor. Still, it’s an interesting culinary experience! Food are nice and staffs are friendly and cook the food all way through. Lamb dumplings taste really good, all the ingredients are finely prepared with seasoning are spot on. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$500+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
